Manifest checker
Paste manifests, helm template output or kubectl get -o yaml dumps. Every apiVersion/kind pair is checked against the release you are moving to. Your text never leaves this page: the check runs in your browser, and this site's security policy forbids it from sending data anywhere else.
What it checks
- Removed: the API version is not served by the target release. Applying the file fails.
- Deprecated: still served, but the API server warns and a removal is scheduled.
- Too new: the version did not exist yet in the target release.
- Off by default: alpha versions and beta versions introduced since 1.24 work only if the cluster enables them.
- Custom resources (anything not built into Kubernetes) are listed as not checked: their versions are defined by the CRD's owner.
The parser reads apiVersion and kind at the same indentation in each document, including items of a List. It does not render Helm templates; run helm template first.
