About cluster.ninja

Every Kubernetes cluster runs on a clock: about fourteen months of patches per minor version, and API versions that disappear on a schedule. cluster.ninja puts that clock on one page.

The facts here are scattered across release schedules, migration guides, source-code markers, changelogs and three cloud providers' documentation. This site pulls them together every morning, checks them against each other, and turns them into a timeline, per-version pages, per-API pages and a few tools: a support checker, an upgrade planner, a skew calculator and a manifest checker that runs entirely in your browser.

Independent

cluster.ninja is not affiliated with the Kubernetes project, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, the Linux Foundation, Amazon, Google or Microsoft. Kubernetes is a registered trademark of The Linux Foundation. All project data is used under its licences and credited on the methodology page, which also lists every cross-check and mismatch.

Corrections

The data comes from the official sources, so the quickest fix for a wrong date is usually upstream, in the kubernetes/website repository. This site picks up the change the next morning.
